Rabits & Romano Architecture Completes Milestone Projects

Openings for attractions, senior living and major commercial expansions planned for 2015

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Orlando, Fl. – (Dec. 29, 2014) - Rabits & Romano Architecture Planning & Design will start the new year celebrating endings -- the completion of a number of milestone projects.

In the first quarter of 2015 the Orlando-based architectural firm is on schedule to complete several major projects, including two senior living facilities and a Brazilian bank. In December alone Rabits & Romano celebrated the opening of a new tourist attraction on Orlando’s famed International Drive and a key major warehouse project in Titusville. 

Highlights included:

  • Regency Park Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility - The 85-bed assisted living facility across from Florida Hospital Waterman is scheduled to open in the first quarter. Rabits & Romano designed the luxury project, which is conversion of a hotel.

  • Banco Do Brasil – The opening of the first Central Florida location of Banco Do Brasil – South America’s oldest and largest bank – is slated for February in Orlando.  Rabits & Romano was part of the award-winning design team for the bank branch which will serve the Brazilian tourist community on International Drive.

 

  • Excellence Assisted Living Facility   – A new senior living facility on Semoran Boulevard in Orlando operated by Excellence is scheduled to open in March. The firm designed the 151-bed complex and oversaw construction of the $11.7 million project.

 

  • Harrison Rhodes – Centrally located on the campus of Bethune - Cookman University, the 28,000 S.F renovation and addition project will house the University's College of Liberal Arts. Rabits & Romano designed and oversaw construction of the facility that includes renovation of the historic front building and integrated it with a new 4 story classroom and faculty office building resulting in a unified project.

 

  • I-Drive NASCAR Kart on International Drive – Rabits & Romano oversaw design and construction of the new 86,000-square-foot International Drive tourist attraction.

 

  • Eckler’s Expansion- Rabits & Romano handled design and construction management for the 180,000-square-foot office and industrial expansion of the Eckler’s Family of Auto Parts Stores.  

 

  •  Dollar General -  Rabits & Romano provided architectural services for 7 Dollar General stores that were completed in the end of 2014 and early 2015.  Hialeah will have 3 new stores, Hialeah Gardens Blvd, 37th st, and 9th st.  North Miami, Homestead, Parrish  and Pembroke Park are the other locations.
